Listening Bar Lüchow

A Tuesday evening when there’s nothing left you need to get done.

At the Listening Bar, you get fantastic electronic music, three sets over the course of the evening. There are drinks and comfy sofas where you can just let yourself drift for a while. Lounge around, listen, step outside for a smoke, hang out with your friends, go back inside, have another drink, enjoy the sounds. The music is mostly experimental, sometimes with beats, sometimes without — not for dancing, but for getting lost in.

The music comes from all over: sometimes from our own label and circle of friends, sometimes from artists visiting from elsewhere. So far, we’ve had Philipp Milner with his solo project “Milner on The Rhodes”, and Wallat Wallat, who also hosts a show on ByteFM. More guests from Hamburg, Berlin and beyond will follow.

The evenings start at 6:30 pm and wrap up around 9:30 pm. Which is pretty perfect for a weekday: you can go out after work, see some people and still be home before midnight.

You won’t necessarily know everyone there. Maybe you’ll run into someone again, maybe you’ll meet someone new. No networking for once — just hanging out together because it’s a nice place to be.

The Listening Bar takes place at QBUS – Quartier am Busbahnhof. The room looks a little different every time: lights, moving installations, sometimes live instruments.

We’re open from autumn through spring. Summer is our break — that’s when we’d rather be outside.
