Kitchen→Island moves fluidly between chillout, easy listening, and dubby minimal tech house. Organic, playful live sets as well as stripped-down club tracks are crafted using MPCs, Portastudios, synths, and lots of other instruments. Early inspiration came from “Meridian” and “Since Then” by Ian Pooley, which revealed that electronic music doesn’t require strict genre boundaries. Much like e.g. Four Tet's sound, Kitchen→Island follows a similar open spirit—restless, eclectic, and unconcerned with categories.
The first vinyl release on lellep. will be in stores worldwide in July 2026.
